Oxford University |
Oxford is England’s oldest university dating back to the 11th century, with magnificent spires, secluded gardens and renowned libraries. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and has been an established town since the 9th century, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years. These days the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town, still with its ancient University but home also to a growing hi-tech community.

Blenheim Palace |
Blenheim Palace is one of Britain’s most spectacular stately homes and birthday of Sir Winston Churchill; many of his paintings still hang on the walls. Blenheim Palace is set in almost 3,000 acres of spectacular parkland and was build to reward John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough and ancestor of Sir Winston, for his defeat of the French at Blenheim in 1704. It offers visitors some magnificent buildings, gardens, boats, railway, a maze and lake, gift centre and pleasure gardens, and is also child friendly.
