Canterbury Cathedral |
Canterbury, England's most famous cathedral city of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and now a world heritage site sits on the River Stour in one of the most attractive corners of rural Kent. The Norman cathedral still dominates the skyline as you approach the city, giving 21st century visitors the same sense of awe as their medieval counterparts. The small and compact city centre is closed to traffic during the daytime to enable the narrow streets and the many attractions to be more easily and safely accessed by visitors.

Leeds Castle |
Leeds Castle is one of the country's finest historic properties, build on two islands on a lake, it houses fine paintings, furniture and underground grotto. The Maze here was planted with 2,400 yew trees in 1988, challenging visitors to reach the panoramic central viewing point. Listed in the Domesday Book, this castle has been a Norman stronghold, a royal residence for six of England’s medieval queens, a palace of Henry VIII, and a retreat for the powerful and influential. Set in a valley of the River Len in the heart of the English countryside, Leeds Castle is a thoroughly romantic location.
